Education in the Division of Pulmonary Diseases & Critical Care Medicine
The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is committed to providing outstanding educational experiences to individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds. Our clinical fellowship program trains physicians in all aspects of pulmonary and critical care medicine, in conjunction with rigorous investigative training in basic mechanisms of lung disease and/or patient-oriented/translational research. Our pre- and postdoctoral research program gives new scientists the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct independent research and become successful independent investigators. Our Research Exploration programs encourage high school and undergraduate students to pursue degrees in science, and provide young scientists the opportunity to learn new skills and techniques useful to their research.
